LOCATION The town is 35 km from Chandigarh and 20 k.m from Panchkula.Along the National Highway No.22, as one crosses the state border of Haryana into Himachal, there comes the beautiful town parwanoo.
POPULATION (census 2001) Parwanoo had a population of 8609. Males constitute 61% of the population and females 39%.12% of the population is under 6 years of age.
CLIMATE
Parwanoo is situated in the foothills of Shivalik mountain range, a part of the outer Himalayas. The summer season is from March to May.
