Sony is multinational company that deals in electronic products. Sony Corporation is parent company of Sony Group. Sony is a Japan based Company. The business of Sony Company was started in 1946 by Masaru Ibuka and Akio Morita or with group of some people. The other members were eight employees and latterly the other colleagues joined the company. Initially the name of the company was Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo and works to develop innovative product. In starting they serve with the products such as rice-cooker, the first tape recorder of Japan, etc. with passing the time name of the company was suggested to be changed first name was taken as Tokyo Kyuko, Totsuko, Tokyo Teletech, at last the name Sony was taken from two words these are, Latin word ‘Sonus’ and ‘Sonny’. Finally in 1958 Sony name was taken of the Company. The first product under Sony brand name was TR-55 transistor radio. The business has reached to introduced with television, home video/audio, home theater system, video camera, lens-style camera, interchangeable lens camera, compact digital imaging, play station, computer/peripherals, personal audio, tablets, smartphones, In-Car Entertainment, storage Media, storage devices, batteries, etc. All the products of the Sony are sold under the warranty.
