VINOD KUMAR SAXENA Dear Sir, I am retired from Air Force in 1994 and drawing Pension from Allahabad Bank Main Branch Lakhimpur Kheri UP. During FY 2016-17, my account was credited towards 7th Pay Commission Arrears, OROP Arrears and Fitment arrears from 2006. Calculation of OROP and 7th Pay Commission is fine. The Fitment arrears Rs. 239000/- approx., which has been credited to my account seems to be incorrect. As per my calculations, it comes to about Rs.293000/-. Further year-wise breakup of arrears is required for computing of my Tax liability. Abdul Aziz Respected sir, I ex-serviceman having PPO number 09/97/B/S/00385/2001 and account number 20708818730. As per pcda 568 circular, DL 33 will be paid from 01/01/2006 to 30/6/2014. The arears should be paid in splitting year wise so that we cannot come in the slab of IT. It learnt that other banks are deducting IT. Govt should not take tax from the defence ex-serviceman rather to give interest in their areas payment. Exact calculation of my arrears, I will forward shortly through my PDA thanks. 04 Jan 2017

But said amount is not released by CPPO Allahabad Bank, Lucknow.

Nareswar Boro 3 Jul 2018 Its been two months since I had abnormal deductions in my Pension. My pension is made half of that I used to get in 6th pay commission then in the 7th pay commission which is strange.We visited DRM Rangia office for clarifications. Then they told us that the Bank is making unknown recovery deduction of INR 5393 and commuted deductions increased to INR 8220 as basic pay increased after 7th pay commission. They are unable to answer the unknown recovery deductions and told us to contact CPPC of Allahabad Bank and gave us ur toll free number which I ranged multiple times but every time it says busy after that I searched your website in google and called at another number given there, it ranged but somebody again made it busy. What is going on??

Nareswar Boro 4 Jul 2018 Hi, I am Nareswar Boro and I was an employee of NFR Railway and retired on 31st March 2016. Since then I used to get INR 16,000.00 (approx.) as my pension and from May 2018 I am supposed to get the revised pension after implementation of the 7th pay commission. But to my utter surprise, the revised pension is less than previous one and is almost half of the previous one. When I visited the Pension Office of the DRM Office of Rangia Division and asked them about the strange revised pension, they explained that in the revised plan the basic pension increased from INR 7,860.00 to INR 20,550.00 and accordingly commuted deduction has also increased from INR 3,144.00 to INR 8,220.00. But there is another deduction mentioned as recovery deduction of INR 5,393.00 which is unknown to them. I had suvmitted a declaration on 21/10/2019, whether that was registered. Pl mention the relevant circular under which the tax is deducted. On Investments made to different forum, TDS are being deducted, if you again deduct it from same investment based on my declaration, there is double 'deduction' . Pl. clear the confusion.
