Sri Ramaswamy Memorial University (formerly known as SRM Institute of Science and Technology) is one of the premier educational institutions in the state of Tamilnadu, India. It was established in 1985 as SRM Engineering College in Kattankulathur. It has currently four campus in Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani and Tiruchirapalli in Tamilnadu State. The University provide courses like undergraduate courses, post graduate courses, doctoral courses engineering courses, management courses etc.

Due to its diversity of students, SRM University is also called mini India. At SRM University one could find students from almost all the corners of the country. Not only this students from different countries are also an integral part of the University. Though almost all of them hail from different cultures and traditions but there is never any issue among them. They all live like a family here. 18 Mar 2014
