There are few organizations in India which are working in developing reports according GRI guidelines of sustainability reporting. Fiinovation is one such organization that develops these reports. We came to know about their work in IOD conference – 8th International Conference on CSR and discussed our work with them.

Heard that Fiinovation, is working towards establishing centre of excellence for CSR, we wish them all the best for future endeavours. We are obliged that they help us receive funds for our health project that was delayed due to lack of funds since a long time. However, due to their good liasoning with various CSR agencies we received our funds within 240 days.

I was brought up with the belief that when you do good don't show that you are doing good.This notion has no existing at least when it comes to corporate social responsibility. I agree with what I heard at the CII and Fiinovation webinar that one needs to shout it out loud. Today, communicating your CSR work to the stakeholders is important for brand building, increasing outreach building trust.

Understanding the amendments and the way this government is working, I believe the act will be soon be diluted more to include more areas. Already, there has been a lot of confusion, and I agree with when they say that this has been the main reason behind non-achievement of CSR targets. Corporations are still figuring out which projects or programs they would take up.
Fiinovation
The Companies Act, 2013 has brought CSR to the boardrooms the impact of the legislation is quite visible currently. I think that Corporate Social Responsibility isn't regarding numbers. I heard this from the Fiinovation who are concerned regarding the method of several firms who do it as a result of the compliance.

Fiinovation is one of the best non-profit companies in India. They are very supportive and work towards uplifting the lives of underprivileged people. The financial support is provided with less paperwork. Overall, it is a great organization.
