AC Joshi Library also known as The Panjab University Library, was founded in the US Club, Shimla in 1947. The Name of the University is given after the name of an spectacular Vice-Chancellor of the PU, following the Partition of India. The Library's modular and efficient design satisfies the objective of a prepared Library. Its 2 primary Reading Halls experiencing the Shivalik Hills manage a spectacular view of the natural atmosphere. The Library has more than 6400000 publications which consist of books, reports, back files of newspapers, etc.
