AAFES is short form of The Army and Air Force Exchange Service (Exchange), catered itself as a retailer on U.S. Army and Air Force base worldwide. It is an America based company which incorporated in the year of 1895 and the headquarters of the company is situated in Dallas, Texas United States. It is a subsidiary of United States Department of Defense. AAFES caters services in the form of convenience stores, restaurants, department stores, movie theaters and an Internet shopping site to serve soldiers, airmen including the families. AAFES follows the slogan of "We Go Where You Go". On the basis of cover all U.S. goods and services recruitment, AAFES has installed stores in Germany, Italy, England, Turkey, South Korea and Japan and for troops in Iraq, Afghanistan and other countries of the world. AAFES operates wide business network of over 2,440 facilities involves convenience stores, main stores, military clothing and theaters. Moreover, the Exchange caters more than 1,400 quick-serve restaurants viz. Taco Bell, Burger King and Starbucks including approximately 3,300 concession operations. The main motives of the existing of the Exchange is render support military through MWR (Morale, Welfare and Recreation) programs. By the end of 2014, the total revenue of the company was over $9.2 billion, through which about two-third of those earnings was handed over to Army MWR and Air Force Services programs. As per reports, the Exchange has been handed over more than $2.4 billion to morale, welfare, and recreation program. Apart from these, the Exchange also renders combat uniforms at costs and lunches for Department of Defense Schools attending children worldwide.
