P V Sindhu (Pusarla Venkata Sindhu) is an Indian professional badminton player who earned huge reputation after winning a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics. With this win, she has become the first and youngest Indian girl to win a silver medal at the Olympics. At present, Sindhu is one of the optimal badminton players in the world. She also became the second Indian badminton player to win an Olympic medal after Saina Nehwal. In the year 2013, she won a bronze medal at the badminton global championships to become the primary Indian girl’s singles player to accomplish that.
