I had purchased the Purity banana flavored drink from the baby city spring field branch in August. Only on the 29th September, I had checked the bottle to see the best before date is the 06 September 2017. I took the bottle back to the store to get it exchanged on the 30 of September. When arrived at the store and spoke to the cashier I was advised without the till slip I could not get and exchange done. I requested to see the manager and met with Vino the assistant manager, she was not helpful at all claiming that no one will ever do this exchange without a till slip as proof of purchase. I advised her I didn't have it as I don't keep my slips and on previous occasions, I had done many exchanges in this store and it was never a problem before as the store price labels are still attached. She insisted that I purchased it will it was still before the expiration date. I both managers are selling stock close to expire and this is endangering our children's lives.

Good day I went to Baby City (Mall Carnival) and bought pampers pants, Tommie tippee bottle warmer and caps on the 05/03/2016 around 14:00. I walked out of the store and called my hubby to confirm that I managed to get everything, he then also confirmed of buying the same stuff, so there and there I went back to Baby City and explained the situation. To my surprise they could not refund me my cash, told me they could only give me a voucher or only deposit my money on Tuesday once their head office has authorized the refund seriously as per consumer act I am entitled to a cash refund but management told me no, I am not and I should leave my banking details and they will get back to me on Monday and if head office authorizes they will deposit the money on Tuesday. Seriously, I am very disappointed by such service, I paid by cash and I would appreciate my refund in cash at the time of the return.
