Chandigarh to Manali Trip:-
Manali (Heaven on Earth) is a tourist Place located in the India’s Northern Himachal Pradesh State. The Beauty of Nature with high peaks mountains and the lush green valleys attract the people to visit there again and again. Manali is near to the Kullu valley. Chandigarh is the nearest city to Manali. Manali is very charming place. I enjoyed a new experience of my life in Manali. Manali is also a most popular place for the adventure activities and for the tracking in the hilly areas. The Trip of Manali was great, we enjoyed a lot there. It was very attractive and beautiful place.
Best time to Visit in Manali:-
The summer season in Manali starts from March and it ends in June.
In winters the temperature of Manali goes down to 0 degree and it is the best time to enjoy the Snowfall.
The Monsoon season comes from July to August with heavy rainfall and the land slides.
In the Manali. I enjoyed all the experience of the Manali in the Himachal Pradesh State. Manali is also a most popular place for the adventure activities and for the tracking in the hilly areas. The Trip of Manali was great we enjoyed a lot there, it was very attractive and beautiful place.
While deciding my trip to Manali there are three options came in my mind. These options are :
• How to Reach Manali?
• Who can provide us Best Packages?
• How Taxi Services avail in Manali?
With complete planning, we have selected all these options and decided to visit there in June.
Now, the day has come. We began our journey. Firstly we decided to look for a tour packages then we selected the best tour package for the beautiful place Manali. After that we looked out the convenience to visit the Manali from Chandigarh, then we searched the Taxi Services & we found it with reasonable fare for the Manali.
Chandigarh road was traffic free in the early morning ,the weather of chandigarh was very pleasant that day, the taxi was arrived at home to pick us and the journey for the Manali was started at morning 6’o clock. Then we started my journey from Chandigarh .The road distance is about 294 km, between the Chandigarh to Manali. We preferred the shortest and easy way that is Chandigarh -Rupnagar –Barmana- Mandi Kullu through NH 205 and NH, it covers the distance of 309 km and takes 7 h 30 m to reach Manali. After reaching our destination we look for the hotels to stay with all comforts and the facilities and then finally booked the hotel in manali to stay. There are various places on the way to Manali from Chandigarh like Ropar,Kiratpur,Bilaspur,Sundarnagar,Mandi, Manikaran Gurudwara, Paragliding Solang Valley, Cherry and Strawberry Garden, River Rafting .All these places comes before Manali and these all are very beautiful .
Ropar City:-
Firstly we visited to the Ropar city also known as Rupnagar was established by a Raja called Rokeshar. The main cities of Ropar District are Morinda, Nangal, Anandpur Sahib and Chamkaur Sahib..I enjoyed to visit this place,then we proceeded to the Kiratpur.
Kiratpur:_
Now we visited to the Kiratpur.There are many famous Gurudwaras ,temples located in Kiratpur.It is located on the banks of the Sutlej.There are so many places to visit there like Gurudwara Patal Puri, Gurudwara Shish Mahal.It is the Sacred Place of the Sikhs,we enjoyed a lot there. There is also a sacred temple of Hindu religion like Shri Rama Mandir and Shri Shiv Mandir.Then we proceed to the next Place Bilaspur.
Bilaspur:-
Bilaspurcomes on the way to Manali. We visited to various famous places in Bilaspur some of these are Bahadurpur Fort, Shri Naina Devi Temple, Sariun Fort, Vyas Cave, Swarghat and we stayed there in a hotel for a night .After finishing our dinner we go outside to see the night view of bilaspur city.Then we proceed our journey to sundarnagar.
Sundarnagar:-
It is the small town with fascinating beauty .It is loacated on national highway, which is 125km far from manali.We stayed there for one day . The evening view of sundarngar is really mesmerizing.I can’t forget this view for my whole life.There are various places in sundarnagar to visit for ;some of these are Mahamaya Temple, Murari Devi Temple, Shukdev Vatika, The Lake ,we enjoyed all the view of that places and it was an unforgettable experience,then we proceed to the Mandi.
Mandi:-
Mandi is a beautiful place to visit .Mandi is located on the banks of River Beas.We visited to various places in Mandi, some of these are Pandoh Dam,Rewalsar Lake,Prashar Lake and Jhanjheli which shows the greenery of mountains and various sacred temples.Then we take pictures of greenery and enjoyed the beauty of Mandi. After then we proceed to the Kullu Manali and reached at the Johnson hotel and stay there for a night, it was fantastic hotel with all facilities.
Kullu Manali:-
Kullu Manali is the most famous place in the Himachal Pradesh.The climate of this place is cool.Big Ice Mountains increases the beauty of Kullu Manali. It was best experience I ever had. We enjoyed visiting this place. Manali is an amazing hill station .This place is referred to the “Valley of the God”. There are various famous places like mall road, rohtang pass, hadimba temple; solang valley.The beauty of these all places attracts the people to visit again and again. We clicked the picture of Ice Mountains. We also enjoyed the different type of food there like Italian, Chinese, Korean, Continental, Indian, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese cuisines and the most famous Tibetan Momos.The food was delicious and yummy in taste.
Hadimba Temple:-
Hadimba Temple is famous for its nature and the religion .Hadimba Temple has thick deodar forests in its surrounding. The view of this temple is very beautiful and attractive. Hadimba Temple was built in the year of 1553.We also did trekking on the mountain hills near the temple. We saw the museum and the folk art of the himachal Pradesh near the Hadimba Temple.
Manikaran:-
Manikaran Gurudwara is the famous Gurudwara. we were visited there after Hadimba Temple , this Gurudwara is most Popular for the hot water Springs. The food is cooked using the heat of the hot Water and also that food Served in the Gurudwara. We enjoyed a there and also saw that interesting thing about Hot Water. Then we proceed our journey to the Manali.
Salogan Valey:-
The Salogan valley is located above the Sea level. Salogan Valley famous for all the winter adventure sports like skiing, parachuting and paragliding etc. Salogan Valley also gives the view to see snowcapped peaks and glaciers. The view of the sigh was amazing and unforgettable.
Rohtang Pass:-
Rohtang Pass is a famous place in the trip of Kullu Manali.We enjoyed various interesting adventures there.Rohtang Pass is famous for its view of the valley and the Waterfall. The high mountains attract visitors to enjoy their beauty.we enjoyed various activities there like paragliding, snow scooter, skiing, mountain biking and then we come back to the hotel at night and did packing for home and left the hotel after enjoy all these places in the Kullu-Manali with so many memories in this trip of Manali.
Then we reached at the home next day and shared all the wonderful experience of Manali trip with friends and the relatives and suggest them also to visit in the Kullu Manali. It is very beautiful ,amazing and awesome place with natural beauty. It was unforgettable journey with family.
