Designer Prabal Gurung denies dating Karan Johar, says the director is his mentor and big brother
New York-based Nepalese fashion designer Prabal Gurung has denied rumors of gossip about having a "romantic relationship" with Bollywood movie producer Karan Johar. A photo of the two, where the two are seen together with 'pyaar kiya to drana kya' as heading, took online networking all excited on Sunday. Gurung has now discharged an announcement on Twitter elucidating that Karan is only his "dearest companion". He expressed: "can we have some fun and levity, please. I feel very disheartened and baffled to need to state this, yet to authoritatively set the record straight: I am not in a romantic relationship with Karan Johar," he mentioned in the post. The fashion designer said his Instagram post of Karan and him was finished with "humor and my unconditional love of Bollywood, it’s theatrical flair and the one and only Madhubala. It has along these lines been misjudged as Karan and me being in a relationship. Karan is one of my dearest companions."
