The 2018 Commonwealth Games, authoritatively known as the XXI Commonwealth Games and generally known as Gold Coast 2018, is a global multi-sports event for representatives from the Commonwealth that will be held on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, in the amid of 4 and 15 April 2018. It will be the fifth time Australia has introduced the Commonwealth Games. India is taking a solid 225 member contingent to the 2018 Commonwealth Games at Gold Coast and shooting, boxing, badminton are a portion of the disciplines where a rich haul of awards is expected. Here we look at some of the athletes who are among the favorites to bring medals to the country;

1. Sakshi Malik (Wrestling)
25 years old, Sakshi Malik, who in 2016 turned into the principal lady wrestler from India to bag an Olympic medal, enters her second Commonwealth Games as the undisputed pioneer of the ladies' contingent and with trusts high of enhancing her silver from four years back in Glasgow. 2. PV Sindhu (Badminton)

4. Kidambi Srikanth (Badminton)
