MSEB is abbreviated as Maharashtra State Electricity Board which is a public sector corporation owned by Maharashtra State Government. The organization was incorporated in the year of 1960 named as Bombay Electricity Board under Electricity Act 1948 and its headquarters is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Laterally, the MSEB changed its corporate name into MSEB Holding Company Limited. During the time period of 1998, After National Thermal Power Corporation MSEB was the second largest generator of electricity in India. In the year of 2005, MSEB was divided into four segments such as Mahanirmiti, Mahavitaran, Mahapareshan and MSEB Holding Company Limited.
