Male Beauty Then And Now

Male beauty and Female beauty, one thing that brings to my mind is, the time consumed by both the parties to get ready. As a kid I always used to wonder, why my mom takes more time to get ready than my dad and me.

If I compare myself with my sister, it would take me half an hour at the most to transform myself from Mr. Sob to Mr. Super cool dude and all it took was a quick shower and shave, a dash of aftershave and a spray of deodorant before getting dressed and taking the comb through my hair with a bit of bryl creem.

Getting that half hour to use the bathroom was the most difficult part of my simple beauty regime because my sister would be in there for not less than three hours getting ready for her night out. Shaving, plucking, applying her war paint (cosmetics) and whatever women do when preening themselves. Of course after the bathroom she would spend another hour or two in her bedroom, choosing her clothes and the accessories to match them.

Women took a lot more pride in their appearance than men in those days.

But, male grooming these days is on par with female grooming routine, and if my sister and I were both going for a night out, we would have to have a roster to use the bathroom!!

Men these days taking a lot more pride in their appearance and want to look great when going out into the public eye. There are many new products in the market which are aimed at male grooming and particularly personal appearance.

From well manicured nails to male lipstick and eye shadows the modern man has a host of products to choose from to help them achieve the perfect look. To be choicest, like women, men can also use cosmetic surgery to enhance their features, like removing unwanted fat and even breast reduction, if they have.

Don’t be shy, but for men who worry about the size of their manhood, there is a surgery available for that too.

Looking good makes you feel good internally. Taking that little bit of pride in your appearance not only helps you look dashing, it gives your ego a little boost which gives you more confidence, making it easier for you to socialize.

You don’t have to spend a fortune to look your best. There are many ways to improve your appearance without breaking the bank and some ways that won’t cost a single cent.

Brands like Vogue, which has a Nail care personal Manicure & Pedicure set, can be well used by you sitting at home without crushing your time in the parlors.

The market is full of Men products, step in to any supermarket and select your range of products. Follow the following steps to make you look super hot and hunk, and make the eyes turn as you walk by!!

•Shaving:

These days is optional, a lot of women love men who have a five o’ clock shadow, or a bee hanging below your lower lip, but if your facial hair is unkempt it would be better to take a razor to it and be clean shaven.

•Nails:

Manicured nails look great on anyone. Your mother, sister or may be your wife, must have been doing it for themselves and I am sure that they will gladly help you. All you have to do is GO AND ASK THEM LEAVING YOUR SHYNESS BEHIND!!

•Skin:

Anti-aging creams work just well on men as they do on women. Moisturize your skin well, use a good face wash that suits your skin type.

• Skin Cleansing:

Use an apricot scrub to cleanse your face. It will help you get rid of dead skin particles and leaves your facial skin smooth. It also prevents black heads and white heads.

•Teeth Whitening:

No matter how often you clean your teeth. Drinking tea, coffee or smoking does affect your teeth. But using whitening toothpaste will give you best results.

•Hair Care:

Hair is an asset for everyone, and for a man it’s his possession. It is important to use a shampoo that is gentle on your hair. Ingredients such as Vitamin E are great for conditioning hair follicles. Hot oil treatments also leave your hair with great natural shine.

•Pubic Hair:

To shave or not to shave is a matter of personal taste, if it feels right then go ahead and do it. You can also manage hair growth on body parts by trimming the hair and with scissors taking care not to endanger your chances of having children in future!!

•Clothing:

Last but not the least; your clothing is most important. Wear what suits you and what is in trend. A man’s personality is judged by his shoes, so before stepping out, make sure your shoes are nicely polished.

So, carry on guys and pamper yourself for an aristocratic and polished look!!
