Mayawati blames Akhilesh for UP poll drubbing, may part ways with SP

BSP (Bahujan Samaj Party) President Mayawati on Monday set the tone for the separation of her party's alliance with SP (Samajwadi Party). Tending to the confrontation of party pioneers from UP in Delhi, Mayawati declared that the Bahujan Samaj Party would challenge the by-elections to 11 Assembly elections in the state without anyone else. This unmistakably implies Mayawati is in no state of mind to proceed the alliance with the Samajwadi Party. In addition, BSP typically does not challenge by-elections. Addressing to the party meeting, she said the Bahujan Samaj Party had not profited from the alliance with the Samajwadi Party. She expressed that the exchange of votes between the two gatherings had not occurred. Nine officials of BJP have won Lok Sabha elections while one administrator each from BSP and SP have been chosen to the Lok Sabha. The BSP (Bahujan Samaj Party) won 10 Lok Sabha seats from Uttar Pradesh. The party had challenged 38 seats. The Samajwadi Party, then again, had challenged 37 seats and won only five. The Rashtriya Lok Dal had challenged three seats and couldn't win even one. Interestingly, both Mayawati and Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav have not said a word on the future of the alliance till now.
