Mistral Air was founded by an actor Bud Spencer and Mistral Air began its officially flying operations in the year of 1984. Mistral Air ran under as the subsidiary of TNT N.V. till the year of 2002 and after that Mistral Air was acquired by Poste Italiane and now at present Poste Italiane is the parent company of Mistral Air. On the June of 2014, Mistral Air started its flight services between Rome and Ancona with Boeing 2 ATR 72 500. Mistral Air operates four types of flights including charter flights, scheduled flights, postal flights and cargo flights. Mistral Air holds national and international destinations including various countries over the world. There are various different types of flights which are operated by Mistral Air and these flights are ATR 72-212, Boeing 737-800, Boeing 737-300QC, ATR 72-500 and Boeing 737-400. Mistral Air headquarters is located in Rome, Italy. The main hub of Mistral Air is Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport and the secondary hub is Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport. Mistral Air received UNI EN ISO:9001 certification for its all air flight services.
