Punjab National Bank was established in the time of 19 May 1894 by illuminating presences from various parts of India with the aim of serving the general population and build up the economy of the nation. It was founded by Lala Lajpat Rai and Dyal Singh Majithia. The major office of the bank is located at Dwarka, New Delhi. It is one of the oldest monetary services organizations in India. The bank has more than 80 million clients, 6937 branches and around 10,681 ATMs crosswise over 764 urban communities. Punjab National Bank, is also called India's first Swadeshi Bank, started its tasks on 12 April 1895 from Lahore, with an approved capital of Rs 2 lac and working capital of Rs 20,000. Along with a long history of the Bank, 7 banks have converged with PNB. The bank offers various financial services to their customers such as credit cards, investment banking, mortgage loans, corporate banking, wealth management, private equity, consumer banking, insurance services, and many more. The bank has an investment auxiliary in the UK (PNB International Bank, with seven branches in the UK), and additionally branches in Hong Kong, Kowloon, Dubai, and Kabul. It has agent workplaces in Almaty, Dubai, Shanghai, Oslo, and Sydney. In Bhutan, it controls 51% of Druk PNB Bank, which has five branches. In Nepal, PNB controls 20% of Everest Bank Limited, which has 50 branches. In conclusion, PNB owns 84% of JSC (SB) PNB Bank in Kazakhstan, which has four branches.
