Sunil Arora is likely to be appointed as the Chief Election Commissioner 2019

The President of India R N Kovind has delegated Sunil Arora as the CEC (Chief Election Commissioner), who will expect charge successful 2 December. Sunil Arora will succeed the current CEC Om Prakash Rawat who resigns on December 1. Arora, a previous 1980 IAS cluster of Rajasthan unit, was named as an EC (Election Commissioner) in September a year ago. As the CEC, he will be on the last place anyone would want to be as he would regulate the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections which are foreseen to be wildly battled between the BJP and the resistance parties, which are expected upon to line together with a consolidated. As a bureaucrat, he has served in different positions at the Central level other than at the state level in his home state. In his last stretch as a bureaucrat, he dealt in as the Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting before resigning in April 2016.
