About KTM Bike
KTM is a multinational motorcycle manufacturer company founded in the year of 1934. The firm is well known for its off road motorcycles and its headquarters in situated in Mattighofen, Austria. KTM-Sportmotorcycle AG is the parent firm of the KTM and Ready to Race is the slogan of the company. The KTM was founded by an Austrain engineer named as Hans Trunkenpolz. In the year of 1937, the company launched the Opel cars and DKW motorcycles in the market. The R100 motorcycle was produced in the year of 1951 and all components of the motorcycles were manufactured in the house. But the Rotex engines were manufactured by Fichtel and Sachs. In the time period of 1957 KTM launched the Trophy sports motorcycle which has 125 cc engines and laterally the company was able to produce motorcycles in the racing industry. KTM North America Inc was the US subsidiary of the company established in the year of 1988 in Lorain, Ohio. KTM-Sportmotorcycle AG is owned by KTM AG, which is mainly known as KTM Power Sports AG. With the help of an American importer, John Penton KTM started exporting their GS model bikes in the USA market in the year of 1968 under the Penton brand name. In the time period of 2008, Bajaj announced that it would jointly manufacturer the new bikes 125cc and 200cc bike in Europe and Far East countries. Duke 200 bikes were launched by the Bajaj in India.
