About Sanyo
Sanyo Electric Company Limited is mostly known as Sanyo. It was a multinational electronic products manufacturing company. The firm was established in the year of 1947. The headquarters of the organization is situated in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. Sanyo has become the subsidiary of India's well known company named as Panasonic Corporation. The firm sold its cell phone division to Kyocera during 2008 and also sold its semiconductor division to ON Semiconductor in 2010. In the year of 2008, Panasonic and Sanyo agreed to buyout, which made Sanyo a subsidiary of Panasonic. Laterally in year 2009, Sanyo became one of the subsidiaries of Panasonic.
