Dindigul city is primarily known for its different types of businesses, but apart from these there are several famous and important tourist attractions. Below are the details of some excellent places in the city;

Begambur Big Mosque:- One of the famous and biggest mosque in the city Begambur Big Mosque was constructed in the memory of the younger sister of Hyder Ali Bagadur.

Hill Fort of Dindigul:- It is situated at a height of 280 feet. This fort was built by Madurai king Muthu Krishnappa Nayak in the year 1605.

Sirumalai Hill Resort:- Most popular hill resort Sirumalai Hill is located on the way to Natham from Dindigul. It is situated at an altitude of 1600 meters above the sea level and most of the hill’s area is covered with lush green forest.

Sri Kottai Mariamman Kovil Temple:- It is approximately 200 years old temple situated on the top of the mountain.

Apart from these, St. Joseph Church, Anjaneyar Temple and Perumal Temple are also very popular places.
