Introduction Faridabad

Faridabad is considered as the economic zone of Haryana. It was established by Sheikh Farid in 1607. Today Faridabad is an industrial city and population centre of Haryana state as this district only generates 50% of income tax to the state government.

 

When it comes to technology, the city owned the very famous software park named as Haryana Technology Park. The city has quite high living standard due to progressive growth. If we talk about agriculture Faridabad is the main producer of wheat. The city is much benefited as government shifted some of the central government office in Faridabad earlier those were in Delhi.

 

There is large number of companies in Faridabad that makes it the industrial centre of Haryana. These large scale companies are whirlpool, orient Fans, Alpine Apparels, ABB limited, Goodyear Tyres, Escorts limited, JCB India limited, Yamaha Motors, CK Birla Group and many more.

 

Faridabad was mainly a Buddhist city; there are many temples to visit. These are Shiva temple, Godavari temple, Akshardham temple and Lotus Temple. These features attract large number of foreign tourists every year. People from India and abroad came here to explore the wonderful structures and to learn the lifestyle and culture of the city.
