Places to Visit Pinjore

Yadwindra garden
It covers a total area of 100 acres. The work of building Pinjore gardens started in the seventeenth century. Tourists can enjoy  mini zoo and camel rides near the garden. Nawab Fadai Khan, foster brother of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb designed the garden. The garden has sloping ground and is decorated with grass and fountains. There is a channel of water in the middle of the garden. The walkways located on both sides of channels add  the beauty, charm and elegance of the Pinjore Garden.

The Pandava Mandir 
The temple is built by Pandavas in the honour of Bhim which was strongest among five brothers. Perhaps the oldest temple in India, although now in ruins.

The Shish Mahal

It is created as the geometric patterns of mirrors, clearly shows the 17th century Mughal Art.

Bhima Devi Temple

The temple is  now in desolate ruins. The walls of this temple is decorated with the images of Gods and Goddesses, animal and floral motifs, sexual encounters along with those of everyday life. From these Sculptures, it is assumed that it was made around 9th century AD.
