Udhampur is the city in Jammu and Kashmir and serve as municipal council in
Udhampur District. Named after Raja Udham Singh it is located in Shivalik Range
of the Himalyas. It offers splendid view through its lush green forests of
Eucalyptus.
It is also designated as the capital of Northern Command headquarters
of the Indian Army. Being a fertile land agriculture is the main occupation here.

and revered religious place located in Katra near to this city. Vaishno Devi is
