Geography and Climate Bijnor

The total area of the region is 4049 sq. km. It is situated at 29° 2' and 29° 58' E and 78° 0' and 78° 57' N.  The western boundary is touched by deep stream of the river Ganges and further than there are four districts of Dehradun, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar and Meerut, Uttrakhand is at the north east.

Climate is similar to the most of the north Indian cities. Summers are very hot while winters are the bone chilling cold. The maximum temperature is 41.9° C while the minimum temperature is 3.2° C.
