9 Days Of Bhog List For Goddess Durga This Navratri

1. Goddess Shailputri- Desi Ghee
On the 1st day of Nav Durga Puja, there is a significance of worshipping Maa ShailPutri. It is believed that Maa Parvati was reborn as a daughter to the king of the mountain. Her statue depicts the Goddess sitting on a bull, and she wears a beautiful white colour sari. Devotees offer her pure desi ghee for their good fitness and health.

2. Goddess Brahmacharini- Sugar
The 2nd day of Navratri belongs to Goddess Brahmacharini, who was born in king Daksha Prajapati's home. A young Brahmacharini had only one wish to marry Lord Shiva. So, she underwent severe penance. After that, Lord Brahma was impressed by her devotion and gave her a boon that she would be worshipped on the second day of Navratri. Individuals offer a Bhog to Maa Brahmacharini with sweet dishes and jaggery for the longevity of their family members.

3. Goddess Chandraghanta- Kheer
Goddess Chandraghanta is the marital form of Maa Parvati. When she marries Lord Shiva, she begins adorning her forehead with a crescent moon. Later, she came to be called Goddess Chandraghanta. Her statue represents Maa mounted on a tigress with ten hands. Individuals offer the Bhog of sweets Kheer made from milk to Goddess Chandraghanta. By doing these, Goddess blesses them with good fortune & wealth.

4. Goddess Kushmanda- Malpua
Goddess Kushmanda is Maa Siddhidatri's physical form. She has the energy and power to live inside the Sun. Her idol represents the picture of a Goddess with 8 hands and has a tiger as a procession. Adorers offer her Malpua as Bhog and, after that, distribute it to Brahmins. Many of them do fast on the 4th day as it is believed that you may recover from bad health by doing so.

5. Goddess Skandmata- Banana
The 5th day of Navratri belongs to Maa Skandmata. When Maa Parvati became the mother of the lord Kartikeya (Skanda). She became known as Goddess Skandmata. Adorers offer banana fruit as a Bhog, and in return, Goddess may bless them with desired prosperity and a healthy physique.

6. Goddess Katyayani- Honey
This form of Goddess Durga indicates the destruction of the demon. When Goddess Durga emerged to kill the buffalo demon Mahishasura, she became known as Maa Katyayani due to her fearful form. On this day, individuals offered Honey as a Bhog to Maa Katyayani as it will assist devotees in directing their anger in a good & positive direction.

7. Goddess Kaalratri- Jaggery
This is the most savage and violent form of Maa Durga. The myths state that Maa Kaalratri was known for killing 2 vicious demons, Chand and Mund. She destroyed the negative energies at the time of night, and thus she received her name Kaalratri. The Goddess was seen seated on a donkey with a lethal iron hook and sword in her hands. People offer her jaggery (Gud) as Bhog on the 7th day. The Goddess may assist devotees in getting rid of any illness or sorrows.

8. Goddess Mahagauri- Coconut
Goddess Mahagauri is a mark of beauty and purity. When Maa Parvati went to fight demons, she left her part on Mount Kailash. This fair-complexioned look of her is known as Mahagauri. She is the Goddess who blesses her adorers with success in all their wealth and works. Adorers offer coconut as Bhog to worship Maa Mahagauri.

9. Goddess Siddhidatri- Sesame Seeds It is believed that Maa Siddhidatri has no physical appearance but only a pure form of energy. Lord shiva combined with this embodiment to form Ardhanarishwara, which embodies femininity and masculinity in the universe. The Goddess statue depicts the lady seated on a lotus flower. She is known as the symbol of beginning and end. People offer sesame seeds as a Bhog to receive ultimate comfort and tranquillity in the form of the Goddess's blessings.
