About State Bank Patiala
The bank was established by the His Highness Bhupinder Singh in 17 November 1917. Patiala State Bank was formed for the growth of agriculture, trading and for industries. The name of bank was changed with State Bank of Patiala in the year of 1948. In Early years all the formations and organizations was handled by the reserve bank of India. State Bank of Patiala earlier branch was situated at Chowk Fort, Patiala.
