Getting Around Belagavi

Belagavi is one of the most beautiful places in India that is very much preferred by travelers. November, December and February are the finest times to visit in the city. Below are the details of some famous places in the city:

Belgaum Fort:- It is one of the oldest forts in the state of Karnataka. At the entrance of this fort, there are two shrines, one of Lord Ganapati and another of Goddess Durga.

Kapileshwara Temple:- This is one of the ancient temples of the city, and is also known as Dakshina Kashi.

Kamala Basti:- It is a Jain temple that was built in the style of the late Chalukyans.

Varapoha Falls:- It is in Jamboti village of Khanapur taluk, which is 20 kilometers from the Belagavi. Jamboti is mainly known for Mandovi River (the longest river in Goa surrounded by lush green forests), which comes from the Jamboti hills.

Halasi:- It is best known for its historical temple and monuments.
