Just for the benefit of the people ring roads, public transport, national highways, huge rail networks, and International airport, have been made. Ring roads which are there in Chennai is The Inner Ring Road , The Chennai bypass, The Outer Ring Road.
The largest bus station in Asia is in Chennai, the CHENNAI MOFUSSIL BUS TERMINUS (CMBT), which serves as the terminus for all intercity buses from Chennai. This bus station is located on the Inner Ring Road, which replace the older terminals. Chennai have a complex rail network for its passengers. Except the central Chennai Station and Chennai Egmore, the main rail networks in Chennai are Suburban System have 6 lines i.e. North line, South Line, West line, South West Line, West North Line, west South Line and MRTS system i.e. Mass Rapid Transit System and the Metro system has been planned for the city to meet the future urban transport requirements. Totally 7 corridors have been proposed. In first phase, two corridors are under construction.
First one is Washermanpet — Chennai International Airport and second one is Chennai Central — St. Thomas Mount

The airport has Anna International terminal and the Kamaraj Domestic terminal, which handles domestic as well as international flights. It is also the third busiest airport in India.he city is connected to major hubs in South Asia, South East Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America through over fifteen international carriers. The airport is also the second busiest cargo terminus in the country with its large integrated cargo terminal. The Airport lies around 25 km from the city centre and is accessible by road and rail transport services.
