GANGAUR:
Idols of Ishar and Gangaur are taken out in procession and songs in their praise are sung till they are immersed into water
Gangaur is the festival which people celebrate every year in the honor of Gauri, the goddess of abundance.In this festival girls dressed with the finest clothes to get the choice of spouse and married woman pray for their husbands.
Throughout the festival girls pray and worship the goddess.Procession taken out in the town of the images of Gauri which are beautifully dressed and bejeweled.
GUGGA NAUMI:
This festival is celebrated by the people of Haryana.
This festival is all about worshiping the snake, which is in the month of August and September.A number of legends have clustered around Gugga Pir or Zahir Pir (the saint). He was reputed to have the power of curing people of snake-bite. Monday is his day, the date being 9th. The shrine is distinguished by its square shape with minarets and domed roof. It is called 'Mari'
HOLI:
Holi is the festival of colours and joy, which is specially celebrated in the Uttar Pradesh.Married women plays this holi with their men, with coloured water four days before the festival.Men throw water on the women who in returns beat them with a stick which is of twisted cloth strips.he men act as if they are powerless and they pretended attempts at shielding themselves lead to much fun and amusement.
