Gita Jayanti or Kurukshetra festival
As Kurukshetra is the origination place of Gita, the festival is celebrated here called Gita Jayanti. Pilgrims gather here to take dip in Bramha Sarover and Sannehit Sarover. Gita recitation continues for one week during the festivals. It is celebrated in December.
Holi
Holi takes out the maximum vigor from the Haryanavi people. The holi celebrated in the villages is worth to notice.
Lohri
It is the form of Makar Skaranti celebrated in January.
Baishaki
Haryana is known as the agriculture state. Baishaki brings enormous joy for the farmers.
