Places to Visit Muzaffarnagar

Bhairo Mandir
 It is located on the Ansari Road and is paid visit during festivities. There are 11 Shivlingas are situated in the temple and is the devotion center. However it is not so popular in areas and is known by few people.

Sankirtan Bhawan

Late Giani Ram Gupta got built this building in 1979 after seeking the lord’s blessing. Situated in the New mandi, This place derived its name from the Kirtan or singing songs in praise of the lord. It has the magnificent statue of  Lord Balaji. A Bhandara or distribution of food is organized here daily.

Shiv Chowk

It is very exciting to visit this place on the occasion of Shivratri which is situated on the GT Road.

Balaji Dham
This temple is dedicated to the lord Hanuman ji. It is situated in the New Mandi.

Kali-Nadi Devi Mandir
Situated on the west end of the town, this temple is of the great mythological significance. This is also the one of the oldest temples. A grand fair is organized here after the Holi festival and bhandara is organized here on every Devi 
Chaudas.
 
Dargah Har Shrinath
It is situated at Ansari Road. It is great center of  devoktion. Shivratri is the main celebration of this place. The annual function of Dargah Har Shrinath is celebrated on 9 March with great enthusiasm.

Vahelna
This place shows the religious harmony as the walls of Mosque, Shiv Mandir and Jain Mandir touch each other. It is also the sacred place of jains.

Shukratal
This religious place is well known for the thousands of years old Vat Vriksha which said to be linked with the times of Mahabharata and immortal. This tree is worshiped by the devotees by perfoming the “parikarma”. Shukratal is also considered as the mini Haridwara Ganges passes through it. The sky high statues o Lord Hanuman, Lord Ganesha, Lord Shica and the Goddess Durga is the noteworthy.
