Culture Visakhapatnam

Vishakhapatnam is known for its peaceful environment that's why it is one of the peaceful cities in India. LANGUAGE From the past the language use to speak in Vishakhapatnam is Telugu, its a local language there. Telgu language is mostly spoken by the middle classes in the city, while the other population prefer to speak the neighborhood's languages i.e. Uttarandhra and Mandalikam. The Urdu language is also use to speak in Vishakhapatnam by the Muslim's living there. The language which is used to speak with ease are Bengali and Oriya, because they are the two languages which are widely used to communicate in the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh.

CUISINE Vishakhapatnam is the land of food Chutneys, Pickles, the land is the fusion of two Cuisine i.e. the South Indian and the North Indian Cuisines. Here, the most famous dish to have is 'Murri Mixture' , it is prepared by puffed rice, tomatoes, chopped onions, boiled peas and some coriander leaves. Murri Mixture is was prepared in very less time and every one in Vishakhapatnam like to have this dish on their plates. People of Vishakhapatnam also love to have the South Indian taste i.e. Dosas, Upmas and Idlis. The most popular dishes of Vishakhapatnam consist of Murku, Pulihara, Puharekulu, Booralu, Anabshahi, Appadams and last but not the least the Chutneys and Pickles. The famous pickle is the Avakkaya, a pickle prepared by mangoes, and Gongoora, a green texture chutney are the taste of Vishakhapatnam.
