PCS Exam eligibility
a. A student must hold a Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university or institution. Students who are pursuing their graduation are only allowed to sit in the preliminary examination. PCS- At the state level this exam is conducted in which candidate belong to that particular state are allowed to sit in the examination. Candidate must hold the domicile residents of that state. Only, a certain number of seats reserved for other state candidates based on which they are allowed to sit in the examination. The seats are reserved within the state seats for the other candidates.
What is PCS Exam pattern and Syllabus?
The exam pattern of PCS examination is similar to the civil services in which Preliminary Test is the first step after which Mains paper is conducted followed by Personal Interview round. CSAT paper can be involved or not in the State Civil Services Examination. In some states, regional Language paper or the statistics paper is compulsory.
