Pathetic & worst hotel to stay... thats what I call Hotel Blue Bird, Near Colaba/Cuffparade, Mumbai. The rooms were very dirty, disgusting and very run down. I would never recommend this place and I wish I would've stayed elsewhere. I paid Rs.2500 a night and that is way too much for a dump like this.
No room service, Cockroaches everywhere in the room. There were a lot of small problems and inconvenience in our room. The Air conditioner only had one way it could be on, loud and on high. The toilet made a high pitch noise every time you flushed . It felt dirty even though we did not visualize the dirt, we did not want to take our shoes off in the room.
When staying at hotels you generally run the risk of having a sub-par accommodations. This place was really, really sub-par. It was kind of nasty really. The whole building is dark and unwelcoming. The check in desk is a small stuffy "room". The person, Mr. Pandey, behind the front desk was a con man.
Never ever recommend anyone to stay and waste the hard earned money. 07 Jul 2011
