It is very unfortunate that a branch manager of your bank is Ismailganj Lucknow has no knowledge whether a particular type of govt account i.e. national pension scheme can be opened in their branch or not. I should be thankful to the customer care who has confirmed that one can open a national pension account in any sbi branch. It will not be out of place to mention here that a customer is better attended in a private sector bank than a public sector bank such as sbi. 09 Feb 2016
