Central Delhi

Administratively, the district is divided into three sub- divisions- Darya Ganj, Pahar Ganj and Karol Bagh. Hub of many tourist attractions, commerce and politics, the Central Delhi is flooded with monuments and attractions, such as the Jantar Mantar, Janpath Market, St Thomas Church, Delhi Fort, India Gate and Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. It includes Shahjahanabad (Old Delhi) which served as capital of the Mughal Empire. The Lutyen's Bungalow Zone located in Central Delhi, is regarded as a heritage area. A tour of Central Delhi can provide a view of the central vista of Rajpath, its adjacent grand buildings, the Parliament House, North and South Block and the Presidential Mansion posed majestically atop Raisina Hill. Visitor s can also go to the India gate lawns for a relaxing evening.
