Getting There Agartala

People can easily reach the city, because the city is well connected by all the ways. Agartala airport is a domestic airport which is situated 12 kilometers from the main city. Agartala airport is also the second busiest airport in north east India after Lokpriya Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati.

In June 2008 Agartala has been connected to other cities of India through Agartala Railway Station. At present there are various local trains and also express train that connecting Agartala to Kolkata, Delhi, Dibrugarh and Guwahati has started.

Agartala is well joint by roads, national highway 44 connects Agartala to Assam by road, which is also known as the lifeline of Tripura. Apart from these there are 24 hours auto rickshaws and cycle rickshaws are available in the city.
