To visit this sanctuary, it is advisable to seek permission of Chief Wild Life Warden of Forest Department of Panaji. Ferry service is available from Ribandar dock to Chorao Island.
Alorna fort
It is situated in the Allorna village which is about 30 km from Mapusa and 10 km east off
NH 17 from Malpem in Pernem. It was built by the Bhonsles of Sawantwadi in the 17th century.
