Places to Visit Rohtak

Bhindawas Lake
It is the largest wetland of Haryana which covers 12kms of land. Bhindawas lake is wildlife sanctuary and the habitat of thousands of birds.

Asthal  bohar
It is located 6-7 Km east of Rohtak  city on Rohtak-Delhi N.H.10. This site is famous for its Math (Monestry). According to belief, Pooran Bhagat of Sialkot and disciple of Guru Gorakhnath, came here and founded this place. The Math runs Ayurvedic Degree College, Free Hospital, Business Management Institute, Engineering College and other institutions.

Myna Resort
Myna tourist resort is the site giving up good tourist facilities which is 2 km from Rohtak town.

Tilyar lake

The Tilyar Lake is located at the distance of 70 kilometers from New Delhi on the Delhi - Fazilka highway and is   situated close to the city of Rohtak in Haryana. It has the area of 132 acre. It consists a guest house,Gift shop, a mini   zoo and a restaurant.

Historical Sites
The Khokar Fort in the form of ruin is still existed here besides Dini and Adina Maszids. The Jama Masjid of Rohtak is converted in Gurudwra in true secular manners. Gaokaran tank is an old mythical tank is a home of structures and includes temples of Shiva, Devi and Hanuman with dharamshala and a park close at hand. Bohar Monastery was 800 years old site.
