Major National Highways linked Bangalore to Chennai and Mumbai.The Main bus terminal in the city is opposite City Railway Station. Autorikshaws are the popular form of transport. Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) also runs buses are operated from Kempegowda Bus Station,also known as "Majestic bus stand", Shantinagar Bus Depot, and Shivajinagar Bus Depot.
