Vidhana Soudha: It is ranked amongst the most impressive and magnificent structure in the Garden city. This 46 meter high building abodes the Legislative Chambers of the state government. Jawaharlal Nehru Planetaium: Jawaharlal Nehru Planetaium is devoted to spread awareness of astronomy among public and student community. It houses a vast sky theater,with a capacity of 200 seats which was created to commemorate the birth centenary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

Tipu Sultan Fort: The fort dates back to 1537 when it was founded by Kempe Gowda, lated on it was extended by Tipu Sultan, the ruler of Mysore. Once it was used to imprison David Baird and other British Officers. It is the monuments who is the silent witness of struggle of Mysore rulers against the British domination. Located near the City Market, it is famous for its delicately carved arches in Islamic styles. The Ganpati Temple is also located inside the fort. It is two storeyed with wooden structure with pillars, arches and balconies with the gardens on every side of the palace. It was built in teak wood, with the touch of floral motifs and embellishments on the ceiling.

Jawahar Bal Bahvan: It is famous amusement park is stretch over an area of 12 acres, Boat rides, mini train rides, open air theaters and tree houses provides fun for all age group.

Lal Bagh: It is botanical garden founded by Haider Ali in 18th century. It was later got complete by his son Tipu Sultan who imported trees from across the world such as Persia, Afghanistan and France. The garden serves relief to those who are fed up of the mad rush and din of the city. It offers splendid scenic view of greenery. It preserve rich flora and fauna that cant be found in other parts of the world. Lal Bagh welcomes you with long lush gardens, scenic greenery, the sweet chirping of the birds that will fill you with magical experience.

The Gangadhareshware Temple: This temples houses the four monolithic pillars and the rare idol of Agni. Experience the unmatched phenomena when the sun rays fall on the Shivalingam, passing through the horns of Nandi in the month of January.

Attara Kacheri: Located opposite to the Vidhana Soudha, Arrara kacheri is the High Court building. It is founded in year 1867, is built in Gothic style of architecture. It was built under the rule of Tipu Sultan. Literally means eighteen departments, it was used to hold Tipu Sultan's offices.

Ulsoor Lake: This magnificent lake was built by Kempe Gowda 2 and spread over an area of 125 acres. It was located near the MG Road. Ulsoor is the picturesque lake with dotted islands on it. The boating arrangements are also available. Thus make it the good picnic spot.

Cubbon Park It is stretch over an area of 300 acres of lush greenery is a famous spot. It welcomes the visitors with peace and tranquility here. It is also good park for the fitness loving people.
