GANGORE: The spring festival celebrated every year in honor of deity Gauri, in which people immersed the idols of Ishar and Gangore into the water by singing. In this festival girls dressed with the finest clothes to get the choice of spouse and married woman pray for their husbands. This festival is specially celebrated in favor of goddess Durga. Procession taken out in the town of the images of Gauri which are beautifully dressed and be jeweled.

JANAMASHTAMI: Another festival which people of Yamuna Nagar celebrate here is Janamashtami, as the Lord Krisha birth day. People decorate the temple and worship Lord Krishna on this day. People also perform Raslila which shows the love of Lord Krishna towards Radha. This festival is celebrated with the devotional songs and dance all over the India.

BASANT PANCHAMI: Basant Panchami also known as the festival of spring. People of Haryana and Punjab celebrate this festival with the great joy. People celebrate this festival by wearing yellow clothes, by flying kites and by performing puja. This festival is celebrated to welcome spring after the winter season. Basant Panchami is celebrated in fifth day (Panchami) of the Indian month Magh (January-February). This festival is also known for the kite festival, in which people in huge quantity fly the kites.
