Road
Regular bus services has been provided to Delhi and Agra from Mathura, besides important towns in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana. Buses run by the UPSRTDC, taxis ,auto-rickshaws, cycle-rickshaws and tongas are the main sources of transportation.
Rail
The Central and Western Railways make it connected with all the important cities of the state and country, including Delhi, Agra, Mumbai, Jaipur, Gwalior, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai and Lucknow.
Air
Agra is the nearest airport which is 66 km away from Mathura. The Delhi airport is about 155 km away. Indian Airlines operates regular flights to Delhi, Khajuraho and Varanasi.
