Places To See Yamuna Nagar

DADUPUR: Dadupur is a beautiful canal, at the distance of just 15 K.M from Yamunanagar, it is a great tourist spot. In Dadupur rivers like Somb and Pathrala merged into the Western Yamuna Canal.

KALESAR WILD LIFE SANCTUARY: The covered area of this wild life sanctuary is 11570 acres, which is located in the eastern part of Yamunanagar, adjacent to the hills of Shivaliks. Wild animals can be seen very easily in this wild life sanctuary. This forest has trees like Sal, Khair, Shisam, Tun, Sain and trees of Amla.

CH. DEVI LAL HERBAL NATURAL PARK: This natural park is located on the Yamuna Nagar- Poanta Road in village Chuharpur. This park has a rich medicinal plant species that fulfill the demand of the medicinal plants in India.

ADIBADRI: It is situated in the north 40 kms from Yamunanagar town, near village Kathgarh. It is surrounded by the foothills of the Shivaliks, with the Adi-Badri Narayana, Shri Kedar Nath and Mantra Devi Temples in the background. Archaeologists have discovered this three mounds of antiquities.

HARNOL AND TOPRA: Panjtirthi is a holy place which is situated at the distance of 15 km from Yamunagar. Area has Shiv Temple and Gurudwara which shows the relations of Sikhs and Hindus. Statues of Lord Ram, Sita and Pandavas are the few other attractions of place.

SADHAURA: This place is also known as historical place. People take rest here coming from Haridwar. Earlier it was 'Sadhu-raha' but now it is known as Sadhaura.
