The land of God, Pilgrims and Scenery Uttrakhand

 Generally known as “devbhumi”  or the land of God,  is the destination  to many tourists, philosophers and saints. Uttarakhand is gifted with natural beauty, temples, dense forests and hill stations, glaciers, peaks, flowers and a home to many  sacred pilgrims of Hindus. Nature bestowed its gifts on  this state in form of spectacular hills and sceneries  along with the  origination place of sacred river Ganges.  Uttarakhand represents the strong religious devotion of Hindus and the desire of many saints to attain salvation.  
 For a many years the beautiful places of Uttrakhand was not accessible due to the lack of roads. Now these places has been connected through a  major network of roads. It remains the visiting place of many tourists throughout the year, thanks to the landscapes and the famous sacred places.  Many places of the state are established or founded by British.
Uttrakhand holds religious, historical and tourism significance. Char Dhams  and other Hindus pilgrims leads life to salvation . Uttarakhand came into existence  on 9 November 2000 as 27th state of India after a long struggle for statehood. Before that it was the part of Uttar Pardesh. Since then  the state is making progress by leap and bound.
